Gak ada yang mau sakit apalagi kalau harus di rawat bahakan operasi, tapi apabila hal itu sudah di depan mata mau gak mau harus dijalani lah ya... hehe :)

Gak ada yang mau sakit apalagi kalau harus di rawat bahakan operasi, tapi apabila hal itu sudah di depan mata mau gak mau harus dijalani lah ya... hehe :)
Suatu ketika pernah gue harus menjalani operasi bius total (total anaesthesia) di sebuah RS di Singapore. Ini ada artikel check-list persiapan agar proses anastesi berjalan aman, yg gue pake juga saat itu:
1. Let the anaesthesiologist know what medication the patient is taking -- dokter khusus anastesi obat-obatan yg kita gunakan, dan memang sebaiknya elo terbuka apa adanya.
2. Find out what medication need to be continued or omitted on the day of surgery, such as diabetic medication -- kita aktif bertanya apa yang boleh diminum dan tidak sehari sebelum operasi.
3. Find out whether the patient should stop taking Traditional Chinese Medicine, aspirin or any medication to prevent clotting one or two weeks before surgery
4. No food at least six hours before surgery, but small amounts of water ( half a cup or less) may be taked up to two hours before surgery -- Nah gue waktu itu patuh dengan peraturan ini, sampe minumpun gue kurangi hehe..
5. No smoking a few weeks before surgery -- i am not a smoker anyway...hehe
6. Avoid Alcohol -- i am not a drinker... hehe
7. Inform the surgeon or Listing Room if patient is feeling unwell a day or two before the surgery. If the patient is suffering from flu, the surgery may have to be postponed -- Naah, ini asli kejadian bener di gue. Gara2 gue komentar santai bahwa 2 hr yll gue agak flu..langsung aja hampir rencana operasi gue di tunda padahal dah pake baju siap di-action dan sudah hampir masuk ke ruang operasi hehehe.. gawatt...lantas aja mereka periksa gue seluruhnya lagi untuk nentukan laik apa gak untuk di operasi atau harus ditunda... Alhamdulillah ok dan akhirnya proses operasi baik dan selamat. :)
